CRKT Knives, which stands for Columbia River Knife and Tool is a knife manufacturing company that first opened its doors in 1994, and is currently based in Oregon. Started by Paul Gillespi and Rod Bremer, both of whom had formerly worked with Kershaw Knives, the company went through a number of bumps and bruises until 1998 when they were able to release their KISS Knife, which stands for Keep it Super Simple. The small folding knife was a genuine success that successfully launched the company.

The CRKT M16 is one of the most popular knives that are offered by the company. It was designed by Kit Carson, who is responsible for developing the entire line of knives. He was sought out to design the knife after he gained fame for his excellent design of his own titanium M16 custom designs. The entire line is regarded as some of the best blades that the company has to offer, coming in multiple styles including spear point, tanto, and other styles.

Their most popular CRKT pocket knife is by far the CRKT Drifter. The blade has large flat areas that make it ideal for the imprinting of logos and other personalized engraving practices. This locking folder knife is made from premium stainless steel and has a titanium nitride finish. At 2.875 inches in length and a frame lock that will make sure that it stays open or closed in between uses, the CRKT Drifter has quickly become the most popular knife offered by the company, and has become a common tool in the engraving industry.

Another CRKT knife line that has received a lot of attention is the CRKT Hissatsu. At 12.25 inches in length with a blade that is over seven inches long in most cases. These knives were manufactured specifically for fighting, and are easily the meanest looking knives that the company has to offer.
